Buy Local in Unley – Resident Feedback

Unley is home to a range of unique and independent businesses with an eclectic mix of professional services, retail, cafes and dining experiences.

We are currently investigating the need for a 'buy local' campaign in the City of Unley. The campaign’s aim would be to encourage residents to shop at and support local businesses within the City of Unley. Studies show that when you buy from independent, locally-owned businesses, more of the money is used to make purchases from other local businesses and services, thereby strengthening the economic base of the community.

We are seeking feedback from residents to gauge their support for such a campaign.

Following the conclusion of this community engagement process, a report containing your feedback will be presented to Council. Your feedback will help Council make an informed decision on future marketing campaigns.
