The City of Unley is home to a range of unique and independent businesses with an eclectic mix of professional services, retail, cafes and dining experiences.
We would like to hear your views on a potential Buy Local Campaign with the aim of encouraging residents to shop at and support local businesses within the City of Unley. Studies show that when you buy from independent, locally-owned businesses, more of the money is used to make purchases from other local businesses and services, thereby strengthening the economic base of the community.
We are seeking your feedback as a local business, to measure the need for, level of interest in and commitment to such a campaign.
Following the conclusion of this community engagement process, a report containing your feedback will be presented to Council in March 2017. Your feedback will help Council make an informed decision on the need for and nature of a future marketing campaign.
We look forward to your participation in this survey, which can be accessed below. The survey will be open until 5pm, 3 March 2017.
If you would like further information please contact the Business and Economic Development Team on 8372 5111 or email us at pobox1@unley.sa.gov.au
