The City of Unley is currently scoping a project to support volunteer management in community organisations and groups in our city.
This project has two aims:
to support promotion of non-council volunteering opportunities in the City of Unley
To provide free training opportunities to support community organisations in the management of volunteers.
Unley Council currently has 370 volunteers actively engaged in our programs and we would like to support referral pathways in the instance that we do not have appropriate vacancies for potential volunteers. This could be something as simple as an 'electronic noticeboard' of non-Council volunteering opportunities on our website.
We would like your suggestions in order to inform how this project is rolled out.
We thank you for your time and responses!
