The City of Unley invites you to have your say on our:

These plans guide how your money is spent, both now and into the future. We want to know: have we got it right? Is anything missing? What do you think of the proposed rate increase? Which services and projects matter most to you?

What we're proposing
The
Draft Annual Business Plan and Budget 2025–26 sets out our priorities for the next 12 months, including:

  • Council services and objectives for 2025-26
  • Key financial information – how we fund services and where money goes
  • Proposed new projects and initiatives
  • The proposed Council rates for 2025–26.

The Budget aligns with our Community Plan: Towards 2050 and Draft 4-Year Delivery Plan (2025–29), balancing long-term goals with financial sustainability, and is based on:

  • A proposed average 3.5% general rate increase
  • An additional 0.5% from new or improved properties.

Changes to short-stay accommodation rating
We are also considering rating short-stay rentals (like Airbnbs) the same as traditional tourist accommodation. This aims to create a fairer system and encourage long-term rentals.
