Local Area Traffic Management (LATM) Plan Zone 5 - Fullarton and Myrtle Bank
Help us create safer and more pleasant local streets. Your feedback will help shape the LATM Plan for the Fullarton and Myrtle Bank areas.
LATM studies aim to create safer and more pleasant local streets by:
- Discouraging non-local traffic.
- Improving driver behaviour and reducing vehicle speeds.
- Providing a safer environment for all street users.
- Enhancing street amenity.
Using data collection and analysis, we have identified eight recommendations to improve safety and access in the LATM Zone 5 study area for community feedback. These recommendations have been identified through detailed analysis of the traffic-related data for the area, and customer requests received over the last five-year period. View the Analysis Report online.
We are now seeking your feedback on the eight recommendations, and also want to learn if there are any other local transport issues in the area that we may have missed.
Your feedback will help us gain a fuller understanding of the area’s transport issues that you consider should form part of this LATM study.
Walking and Cycling
As shown on the map to the right, the City of Unley’s Walking and Cycling Network highlights three key bicycle routes in the LATM Zone 5 area. As part of the Walking and Cycling Plan 2022-2027, the neighbourhood bicycle routes on Wattle Street and Ferguson Avenue are identified as priority projects. To help inform future year design investigations, as part of this LATM Study Council welcomes any early ideas / feedback either via the online survey or the Map (provided below) to improve walking and cycling conditions on the three highlighted bicycle routes.
There are four ways you can get involved. You can:
- Take part in our online survey.
- Leave a like or comment on the eight recommendations developed on our digital ideas board.
- Add additional traffic issues based on your local experience to the Map for our further investigation
- Come along to a Community Public Display Meeting (details provided under the heading Key Dates).
All community feedback will help us identify which initiatives and/or projects are most important within the LATM Zone 5 area. All new suggestions will be considered to make improvements to the initial eight proposed recommendations.
Your feedback is valued, so please take the time to share your views with us today.
