The City of Unley engages with the community on different issues in different ways.

We will continue to engage like we always have - to ensure our community’s voice is heard in our decision making.

However, we think there are issues that need a deeper level of your involvement so we are trialling a new process - Shaping Unley - which will bring the community in as partners in the policy development process.

Shaping Unley is a comprehensive engagement process that the council may choose to use for exploring complex and polarising policy issues facing our community.

A Shaping Unley process will involve community from the beginning - stepping through the problems, opportunities, and possible solutions in a collaborative way.
