City-wide Parking Strategy - Issues and Ideas Forum
This consultation has now closed. Feedback will inform discussions in the first-ever Shaping Unley Community Panel. The Panel will work together in late May and June 2022 to develop a framework and set of decision-making principles to form the basis of the city-wide parking strategy.
Help us shape the strategy by telling us what you think about on-street parking in the City of Unley.
The City of Unley is commencing the development of a city‑wide parking strategy. This strategy will help us better balance the on‑street parking needs of residents, businesses, shoppers, commuters and visitors.
To help us develop the strategy, we are interested to hear your views on:
- any current issues you have with your on-street parking experience(s); and
- any ideas on how you think these issues could be resolved.
We also want to hear about your good experiences and find out what you think is working well.
Please share your ideas and issues, drop a comment directly onto the City map or take our short survey via the options below. Consultation period closes 6th May 2022.
Council is keen to hear about parking management, permits, narrow streets, driveways, work zones, construction parking management, and anything else you have on your mind.
What happens next?
Your feedback will be very valuable as it will inform discussions in the first-ever Shaping Unley Community Panel to be made up of thirty members of your community. The Panel will work together in late May and June 2022 to develop a framework and set of decision-making principles to form the basis of the city-wide parking strategy.
The Shaping Unley process empowers the community to influence Council decision-making. You can learn more about this new process on our Shaping Unley page and about the city-wide parking strategy on our city-wide parking strategy page.
