The City of Unley, in partnership with the Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI), is piloting a bike bus service (Unley Cycle2City) to encourage residents who work in the CBD to ride their bike to and from work.

The bike bus will involve participants meeting in a set location at a set time to ride together to work in the CBD. Each bike bus will have at least one cycling leader, who will be an experienced rider to lead the group into town safely. Indivduals selected as cycling leaders will participate in a workshop and information session before becoming leaders. We want all leaders to have an understanding of how to lead large groups of riders in a safe manner. Cycling leaders will receive one free bike service.

All people who participate in the Unley Cycle2City service will be required to attend a basic bike training and information session before participating, and will receive as a gift, a free bike light.

We are seeking interested people in being cycling leaders or participants. To register your interest please complete the Cycle2City Registration.
